Stalled builds and projects

Your build has stopped. It can start again.

No contractor, permits stuck, paperwork half-finished — we work out where your project actually stands and what it takes to complete it. NEXEVO can finish the build directly, join the team you already have, or restructure the project if it no longer stacks up as it is.

First assessment free and confidential · We reply within 24-48 working hours.

01 — Where we start

If any of this sounds familiar, we can help

  • Your contractor is gone: they walked off site, went under, or you terminated the contract.
  • The permits are stuck: licence pending, expired, or town hall requirements nobody has answered.
  • The paperwork does not add up: outdated project, unregistered modifications, documents nobody can find.
  • The budget has run out and there is no capital left to complete the build.
  • It has been stopped so long that nobody can say today what finishing it would cost.

Every month it sits still adds interest, weather damage to what is already built, and administrative deadlines running down. The sooner it is assessed, the more options remain.

02 — Diagnosis first

We assess first, decide after

We look at the real state of the build, the documentation that exists, and what is missing to complete it. With that on the table, we tell you which route fits your case, including the one we earn least from.

Example of a planning report: plot drawing, development conditions and data sheet

Before we propose anything, we talk to the people who decide

Town hall, professional college, site management, insurer: we go to the source and confirm what state your file is genuinely in. A lot of builds are stopped by a problem that is not the one the owner thinks it is. We only put options to you once we know where each authority stands.

Once the diagnosis is closed, there are four routes:

01

We build it

NEXEVO completes the build with our own site management. You stop chasing trades, deadlines and approvals.

02

We collaborate

We join the team you already have without dismantling what works, and add what is missing: capacity, management or organisation.

03

We invest

If you have neither a contractor nor the capital to finish, the NEXEVO team will consider coming in as an investor and funding the construction. Terms are agreed case by case.

04

We restructure

If the project no longer stacks up as it is, we structure an alternative: change of use, a new scheme, or sale of the asset.

03 — No obligation

What happens when you get in touch

  1. You tell us about the project. Where it is, when and why it stopped, what documentation exists. Five minutes on WhatsApp or through the form.
  2. We sit down with you. We come back to you within 24-48 hours and arrange a meeting to go through everything: project, licences, contracts, and whatever is left from the previous contractor.
  3. We approach the authorities. With the paperwork reviewed, we go to the town hall or the other bodies involved to find out what your file actually says, rather than what everyone assumes.
  4. We visit the site. Only then do we go to the build — to check on the ground whether the problem is still there, or whether it turns out to be a different one entirely.
  5. We put a route to you. With documents, responses from the authorities and the real state of the build in hand, we tell you which route fits and what completion would cost. You leave knowing what you have, even if you never work with us.

04 — Tell us about your case

The sooner you look at it, the more options you have

Come and see us and bring everything you have: plans, licences, contracts, photographs of how the site looks today. With that in front of us we can tell you whether we can help. The first meeting costs nothing.

That’s enough for us to tell you whether it’s a case for us. We reply within 24-48 working hours.

Whatever you tell us stays between your team and ours. We do not publish projects or pass information to third parties without your written consent.

We ask for your number so we can call and understand the case before we meet.

Two lines is plenty: when it stopped and why you think it did.

05 — Where

Where we work

The whole Spanish Mediterranean coast, with our own team in Ibiza and Mallorca. If your build is in the Balearics, we know how licensing actually works there and what each town hall’s timescales really are.

06 — Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Tell us where it stalled. We review the build, the documentation and the permits, then set out how to restart it: we finish it ourselves, work alongside your current team, or restructure the project if that is what it needs.

The first one costs nothing. Come and see us, show us what you have, and we will go through your case: the build, the documents, the state of the file. We only talk about price once we know what actually needs doing. Before that, no serious figure exists, and we would rather give you none than a made-up one.

Yes. NEXEVO also assesses stalled builds and projects as investment opportunities, not only as a completion service. Tell us about the case and we will look at it like any other asset.

Yes. Regularising documentation and permits is part of the initial assessment, before deciding how to proceed. It is one of the most common reasons a build stops in the first place.

Yes, a significant share of our clients. We work in English, Spanish and Russian, and we run builds remotely with regular reporting. You do not need to be here.

It depends on the permits. With documentation in order, work can resume in weeks; if a licence has to be regularised, the town hall sets the pace. At the assessment we give you a realistic timeline rather than an optimistic one.
